Seahawks = Cha-Ching!

The Seahawks' current post-season success isn't just good for Seattle's morale, it's also a shot in the arm for Pioneer Square's business community. And the neighborhood is getting in the spirit of the 12th Man.
In an attempt to capitalize on the Hawks' success, the Pioneer Square Community Association is getting ready to unveil banners and flags throughout Seattle's oldest neighborhood. Sure it's good for community spirit now, but Craig Montgomery is banking on the future.

"It's both about celebrating the Seahawks, and highlighting the neighborhood," says Montgomery, who is the executive director of the PSCA.

"In the long term, when people see the neighborhood, they'll want to visit here."
I wonder if the banners will outnumber the used heroin needles?
