Occidental Square: 3rd worst in the world
According to the Project for Public Spaces. Our office overlooks Occidental Square. Other than the occasional concert or bocce ball game in the summer, the park is just one city block of drugs and destitution.The state of this square has kept the whole district from becoming a great destination. We would venture to say that property values are now at 60% of what they would be with a thriving square to give energy and stature to this critical historic area.Here's what the city plans to do about it
